It depends on the size and complexity of the roof. An average size roof is typically 15,000 to 25,000 SF and in most cases can be completed in one day. If you have a very complex or large roof then it may take longer. Extra time may be needed on average size roofs if there are multiple shingle layers that need removed.
It is best to do a roof replacement when the temps are between 40°F and 90°F. If the temp is outside that range extra time and care must be taken.
The short answer is no, but it is recommended.
You will want to keep your yard free from pets, children and personal items until the roofing project is complete. If you have a fenced in yard please keep your gates unlocked for our team until the project is complete.
